An Iphone App that I Wouldn’t Want To Live Without.

I see all these articles on the new Iphone apps and they are for the most part, very great. But there is one app that doesn’t seem to get much attention and every time I mention it to Iphone users or potential Iphone users they are shocked to hear about it.

The Kindle software from Amazon is s free app and allows you to use your Iphone or Itouch just as you would use a Kindle.  With Kindle for Iphone you can download books right to your phone (even books that you already have on your Kindle), add bookmarks, and create notes. And with Whispersync, your Iphone and Kindle automatically sync so you are on the same page on each device.

The reason why I love it is that I always have my phone with me so I always have my book with me. Anytime I have a free second I can read a few pages. The other great thing is that my 8 year old can read books on his Itouch and I can monitor his progress, he uses my Amazon account to download books and my Iphone also gets those books. So I know what he is reading and how much he is reading.

Another plus, the app is free and most books are about $10 although you will find many free books especially for kids. Last night I download the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, free.

It may not be the newest app out there but if you don’t have this free app, you are missing out!
