Coolest Presentation EVER. What Motivates Us?

So, sometimes I wonder: “How have we been able to attract these amazing writers that we have at MobileLocalSocial.com that we are blessed with?

There is no big compensation right now for writing. No revenue to speak of, yet. People are trained to NOT click advertising, for the most part… we are sophisticated technological consumers… so we know not to click on ads.

This is a labor of love, every writer has a different job OTHER than here at MobLoSo. Why would they want to spend their free time at our site? It’s most likely because of our purpose in helping businesses and consumers with education about the space that we are so passionate about. Why do thousands of people spend time updating Wikipedia? It is an interesting question. This presentation addresses that.

More and more, Mobile Local Social is creating a purpose of creating a mastermind group full of today’s finest in mobile technology, mobile marketing, local geo-targeted location, social media, science and technology. We are going to be interviewing some of the brightest minds in America… that is a carrot. Being part of something that becomes something, is a carrot.

It’s hard to actually know what is going to motivate the worlds most talented technology minds to want to work with MobileLocalSocial in some way. This presentation mentions why people like be part of something with a purpose.

This style of presentation is the most interesting and entertaining style that I’ve ever seen. He takes audio from a presentation, in this case the “Dan Pink, Drive” presentation, which is around 40 minutes. Take a look at this, which RSAnimate takes a 10 minute excerpt and draws the presentation out on the giant white board.

It’s f*ckin’ genius.

When it is all said and done, our Mobile Local Social team will interview people like in The RSA archives… wow. This is an AMAZING archive of these presentations. Not all are animated, however.
