Engadget Agrees with Me, Their Commenters Suck! Suspends Engadget Commenting

Engadget suspended their comment section of the site due to a few abusive, rude commenters who felt like they ran the place. Engadget decided to pull the plug on the comment section

However, there are many, many highly intelligent Engadget commenters out there. So a few bad apples on Engadget with bad attitudes are spoiling the whole experience. Perhaps Engadget takes itself too seriously, or perhaps some engadget commenters get a lot of their self-worth through their comments… but whatever the case, Engadget’s comments are down for now. When things cool off, perhaps when the “trolls” are gone, Engadget will turn back on the commenting and please the good commenters.

In the meantime, any of the “Good” Engadget commenters, can find solace in our new comment area. As long as you aren’t one of the douchebags.

About the Author

DJ Brady has been in the industry for over 15 years. Due to being rather OCD about research into every nook and cranny of the latest tech, DJ is full of bizarre knowledge that may or may not be relevant to, well, anything. He has attended CES, E3 and GDC (upcoming) trade shows for years. Once upon a time he managed a local overseas importing video game shop, eventually a Gamestop, and at another time wrote for an insider trade magazine called "The VideoGame Advisor".
