Gears Of War 3 In April 2011

With all the lovin’ that both PS3 and XBox 360 owners have been seeing for the last few months, and will continue to see for the rest of the year, one title is absent – Gears of War 3. For those of you who can’t wait to plunge a chainsaw deep in the heart a Locust (mmm… splattery), worry not. EA has been hinting not-so-subtly that a new “shooter from Epic” is due just before April in Q1 2011. Gee – what could that be? And if that’s not enough, Epic prez Mike Capps said that they’ll make a major game announcement during E3.
For those who can’t wait until June, worry not – there is a teaser drop on April 8. (via Joystiq)
