Anyway, the first thought I had when I heard that Google's new service was named Buzz was the same, how is that now confusing with Yahoo! buzz? I suppose for those already committed to GMail it might make a sense as a feature but does it do anything for you if you have no GMail presence? Doesn't seem like it. I buzzed up the story, I don't know is that ironic or something? GMail is enough of a timesuck without having built-in Twitter functionality. Which it did if you ever used the i.Google portal with the Twitter add-on. Plus, as committed as I am to GMail, I'm also committed to Facebook and Twitter. I don't seen anything in here that I can't get from one of the major Twitter clients.
