Somethin’ Smells Wallabishy Around Here Nintendo

Luke over at Kotaku, made a very interesting observation via deductive reasoning, and I agree with him.  It seems that the million+ (US equivallent) dollar fine demanded from the Australian man who uploaded the New Super Mario Bros Wii game onto the Internet, was actually settled out of court with Nintendo.

Now, most likely under a gag order, pictures keep showing up of him looking sad and guilty.  Settled out of court, sad pics, and to top it off profiling of the man in the Brisbane Times, while Nintendo annouced a “don’t be a pirate” mini campaign.   Great scare tactic for anti-piracy fuel but, me smells a wallaby mate.

Oh no you Nintendidn’t.
