Steve Job’s: Freedom of Expression vs. Invention

It’s hard to argue with Steve’s points although I do think he ignored the mention of unfairly rejecting…

“…cross-compiled Flash apps are an entirely different matter: They run as native Objective C code, and Apple has a chance to review them for performance. Apple has never tried to argue that cross-compiled Flash wears batteries down any more quickly than other Objective C code, and in fact approved more than two dozen such apps before changing its policies.”

In any case, the email conversation is a great read.  Much respect to Steve for being a CEO that will talk to you (if you are intelligent) and defend his perspective even if many disagree with Apple’s practices.
