Whisper Systems Release Encrypted Voice & Text Apps: RedPhone 0.1 and TextSecure 0.1

Over at Reddit I noticed a link to Whisper Systems.  Encrypted voice and texting applications entitled  RedPhone 0.1 and TextSecure 0.1, are free for Android phones.  If this isn’t a reason to have an open source O/S, I don’t know what is.

Download from the Android market now.  I just did.
