Microsoft has just opened its next Home Server OS to public beta. Microsoft says that the Vail beta only works on 64-bit systems, with the minimum requirements being “a 1.4 GHz x64 processor, 1 GB RAM, and at least one 160 GB hard drive.”

uTorrent 2.0 Released From Beta to Final

As seen at Download Squad and Lifehacker, uTorrent 2.0 has gone RTM.  The newest version uses additional configurations to reach through firewalls to other clients running BitTorrents for more efficient bandwidth usage.  Additionally, it throttles traffic so as not to affect your normal internet surfing (unlike the version I use now :-/ ).  Grab it here.
